What happens to good ideas? Annual Núvol 2021 awards
All of us at Industrias Alegre knew that there’s a lot of talent in our plants. And we decided to channel it all: so not a single good idea would go to waste! And that was how Núvol was started up, a platform to collect, implement and award our shining stars of creativity.
One year after having our innovation platform up and running, the awards ceremony was held for the best ideas implemented in 2021 at our two plants.
The awards at our Wroclaw (Poland) plant went to:
- Jacek Frąckowiak, for his ideas about how to improve process standardisation
- Paweł Zygmunt, for his ideas about improving SMED and 5S
- Grzegorz Olszewski, for his proposal on H&S
The winners at our Albal (Spain) plant were:
- José Sebastián Sánchez, for his idea to improve the safety of machinery
- Yolanda Fernández, for improving ergonomics at work stations
- María Milagros Martínez, for her ideas to improve packaging capacity
The most remarkable kaizen workgroup at each plant was also awarded.
Enrique Careaga, our CEO, pointed out that all award winners ‘represent key values for the company’s success, such as hard work to improve what is done, employees’ safety, creativity in doing things differently and teamwork’. He added that ‘the company feels great pride about having employees who not only do their jobs well, but also provide added value through their attitudes’.
